What's the Challenge?

 As the NDIS grows, so does the backlog of paperwork, invoices and frustrated Participants and Service Providers waiting to be paid for support.

On the front line are Plan Managers, businesses who connect Service Providers and NDIS Participants, and many are run by people with a disability, or family member or friend with a disability. But many are struggling with overwhelming paperwork. Growing volumes of invoices are draining resources already stretched by complicated processes and procedures, reporting requirements and rising fraud.

Adding staff to process invoices and keep customer service on track means rising costs, so many plan managers are refusing new customers or processing payments late. Managing Director Devon Hamon knows the industry’s problems intimately.
